Usually tomato rice recipe that i have seen on the internet is like a one pot meal but this is how my mom makes from ages .If you ask me , i like both the recipes ;)

This is pretty simple recipe though we are making rice and tomato masala separately ,it wont take much time because the masala we use in this recipe is easy and also handy. The specialty of this rice is usage of Marathi moggu & that adds flavor to the rice.

This can be served for breakfast ,lunch or dinner

NOTE:
  1. By the time , you prepare rice along side you can make this simple masala which saves time
  2. Marathi moggu plays an important role in adding flavor to the rice but if you dont have then skip it
  3. You can also add garlic cloves as per your taste
  4. Ensure the rice is cold and then the masala is mixed similar like lemon rice
  5. As we dont add salt in the rice while cooking , the additional salt required will be added in the masala itself. So add in as per your taste
  6. Add masala that is required for the rice and left over can be stored in fridge for a week.

     Happy cooking !
