Mangalore Churmuri|ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಚುರ್ಮುರಿ 



                       Presenting to you all a special Mangalore churmuri chaat today.This is very simple and tasty recipe that you may want to add on to your list😊

This chaat recipe i got it from my dad and also its different from the one's you find.I am sure you will love this churmuri that requires just few ingredients like coconut,coconut oil & masala powder and also mixing is really important for this dish so follow all the steps of this chaat for best taste.

This is best for tea time snack so we usually prepare this on sunday's and serve with hot tea 🍻

Recipe details :
  • Puffed rice - 4 cup
  • Coconut - 1/2 cup ( Grated coconut)
  • Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt as required
--> Take a bowl and add freshly grated coconut
--> To this add all the masala i.e Chilli powder,Jeera powder & Coriander powder along with salt
-->Nicely mix them with your hands to incorporate well with the coconut
-->Further add Puffed rice and toss them well 
--> At last, add coconut oil and mix well 
-->Mangalore Churmuri is ready to be served

NOTE:
  1. Coconut oil enhances the taste of this chaat but if you do not like ,you may skip it 
  2. Addition to this you can also add onion as per your taste
  3. If puffed rice is soft then toss them in a pan to make it crispy
  4. If you like sweet then you can also mix jaggery to the same recipe and skip coconut oil
